I've been wanting to participate in this year's contests, but writer's block has been a real problem this year. Thankfully, this theme scratches a certain itch of mine. Notable sci-fi films of the '70s and the opportunity to piss off a bunch of nerds! The theme said to explore something new, so I decided to boldly go somewhere different. Sorry not sorry.
