Excellent monologue and questions posed - the not-so victim shines through so well in your style!  :)

Loved the element of scientists being in-between indifference and discomfort after they succeeded in their task.

Yeah, although you sometimes kind of wonder how much is guilt and how much is "man, I just wanted a little revenge, but being a pimp is ongoing work!"
