Not consciously, although everything's always bouncing around in there; it's mostly just finding a photo that could be twisted from seductive to tormented and figuring out a reason why the person doing the second-person narration would want their victim wanton but enjoying it.

(Also, not sure it's really romantic - head canon is that the narrator only wanted Dixie because she was dating this rival and they don't last!)
