Title: Tag team captions
Post by: Entrancing Kayla on April 09, 2012, 04:29:14 PM
I'd like to see a monthly theme be tag team collaboration captions some month.  It could either require a two panel caption series where each team member makes one, or pairing a member with visual presentation skills with a writer.

If the writer / visuals idea is used, it might be best time match up a pairing going into the month of the contest. It could fail horribly,  or it could result in some awesomeness.

I've paired up with one or two other people to make a caption. It is a lot of fun and resulted in some very fun works.

I find the idea completely ludicrous.
Count me in!

Peace,

I've often thought of doing such things, especially a collaborative visual/text concept.  either idea works fine :)

Gosh I always sucked at group projects.... I would pity the person who got stuck with me as a partner !!!!  ;D

Well, I imagine you'd pick your partner rather than having them assigned, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Anyhoo, while this seems like a good idea I doubt I'd enter. I'm just not reliable enough to work with.

I think this idea sounds like a lot of fun. I'm in!

I'm actually torn on this. It almost might be more fun getting a random partner. Who knows what we could end up with?

What about teams based on nationality? There are a whole load of flags here, plenty of potential teams....

WHOA now Martina.... a little cross country polination might be educational , benefical, and fun !!!   I'm kinda diggin the random assignment but not sure how we would do that... or maybe let people invite and pair up I don't know  I dred this because I'm not good at it but also it seems enticing.

As always I'm always up for a challenge. I've done collaborations before, like on an old birthday series for Bren, where someone had the basic idea for a story and a few pictures, and each person made one caption.

I like this idea.  Actually a little surprised it has been used before.

Never said it wouldn't be, it's just that nationality is one obvious way of making teams that hadn't been mentioned before.
