the new GONNA GO BACK IN TIME! Contest timing i wrong

these year is the 50th Anniversary of DOCTOR WHO

i was plan to ask for DR WHO Contest after few months so we make it in November with the show 50th Anniversary

so i hope you will not say no to the idea even that we make time travel Contest
and Dr Who can go in future so at last it can be about Dr Who going to the future only

However, given some of the reactions to the Joss Wheddon contest, I doubt that it will happen.
So, I would suggest some more general alternatives:
- Science fiction themed TV shows (or movies)
- British TV shows

Same here, but if the problem is that it is too specialist for a monthly comp then we could just have our own Dr Competition independent of the monthly comp.

But that does not stop you from making your own special contest apart from the haven's official contest, nor does it prevent you from making a Dr. Who cap for this one.

Realistically, this will not happen for the Nov contest, and that has little to do with the contest theme running now.

Besides, will Nov may be the actual month the show started, this whole year is technically it's 50th anniversary. The writers are planning big 50th anniversary things for it when it returns in April.

Post by: Terri on January 12, 2013, 04:48:37 PM: The bigger celebrations are probably going to be nearer the end of the year whereas when it returns in April it will be the second half of season 7 but Moffat will probably seed stuff in.

As fun as a contest like this would be, I agree that it would alienate people unless there's some kind of general theme we could concoct from it.
