I hear you and I do understand. I try to make caps like that myself (No not the nude and slutty ones). I just think a lot of the girls here have a lot of bent up.....love?

I hope you do get into making your own caps...so you can show everybody here how to have some nice clean fun :D

Greetings, friend Kaitlyn!

why isnt there more clean captions, like girls with clothes and fashion and girls stuff , love, and beauty.  why is there sooo much about nudity and sex and sluttyness

I take objection to your implied assertion that nudity and sex are somehow "unclean".  I, for one, consider the female body and sexuality divine.
That said, I am not about to argue the point with you because I understand that different people have different outlook on things.

And therein also lies the answer to your question: there is "sooo much about nudity and sex and sluttyness" because people have different motivations, desires and fantasies, and most of the captioners here find those things attractive, exciting or motivating.  After all, a significant difference (arguably the most significant) between males and females are their primary and secondary sexual characteristics, which are mostly there for sexual purposes.

i would love to see more caps of girls just being girls and not just objectified but more admired for there beauty and grace

Firstly, sexuality does not equal objectification, although I also find the captions that equate the two disturbing and try to avoid them.

Secondly, the fact that grace and beauty seem to be exclusively the domain of women is an artifact of societal norms and attitudes.  Just as some people consider sexuality "dirty", others consider the desire to be admired for being beautiful as "girly", "feminine" or "gay".  You don't have to become a women in order to fulfill your desire, finding non-judgmental people that will accept you as you are will suffice (although some will claim that it even is harder to achieve).

i would love to star writing captions soon, i just need to get motivated, i am always tired from work :( but some day i will :)

Tell you what, I will help you find your motivation by finding captioners that you can trade with "safely".

According to the Trading Preferences DB, there are several people that prefer R, PG or even G-Rated captions.  Finding them can be tedious, so I took the liberty of compiling a list for you, sorted by the highest rating acceptable to that person.

  • G: Kamil88
  • PG: Eleanor, Kriskristee, Samantha1, Xfireinfernox
  • R: Acrossthesea, Anny K., Brandon Armstrong, Coomanfu, Courtney, Curmudgeon2007, Debi, Dudeandgreenshirt, EnvyGirl, Feargas, Fett, Greg, Janesmoke29, JaySeaver, Katie, Katt, Melanie K. Fabulous, Miki, Mindi Muffins, Preg Luv, Rachel05, Reprobate, Revolutiondarkside, Riley Jean, RMP42661, Robyn, Sakura, Shannon_2525, Stacy Wilderness, Tar, Taralyn2011, Terri, Tiffany, WonderLlama2008, Wraithstrike

Please understand that the rating is purely subjective and is based on the submitter's understanding of the terms.  Therefore I suggest reading the person's preferences and looking at the captions they make before making your choice.

Another option would be to find somebody "eclectic" that will be willing to accommodate your preferences (both in giving and receiving) even if they don't mesh perfectly with their own.  Posting a request or a 2-for-1 offer can often help.

Good luck!

Peace,
Lurker.

Fellow Kaitlyn...  First off, change the spelling of you name :P  Secondly, A LOT of my captions (especially the earlier ones) are clean and you can find them in my gallery.  Third, I actually would agree that making "clean" captions would be challenging to many of the members here.  The real trick is creating a caption that will still be intriguing or fun to read that doesn't need what some consider X-rated.

The short answer is sex sells.  I've noticed thatI get more of a response from my X rated caps than my g & pg stuff.  If you want to see more G rated fare on this board I'd suggest commenting on the stuff you like.  People respond to postitive feedback and I'm certain you'll see more 'clean' caps.

Plus like Lurker said they are plenty of people here who share your tastes.  If you get involved in the trading area of the site I'm sure you'd find a lot of people willing to trade less explicit caps with you.  I always welcome whatever sort of cap someone wants to leave for me (as long as they are at least a little mindful of my preferences) and I always try to be mindful of the other person's preferences and dislikes when capping a person back.

I love the hard stuff but also can appreciate and love the clean stuff a good cap is a good cap.  My preference and tendency is to trade stuff with a harder rating more often but I enjoy trading clean stuff too and there are some clean caps that are excellently done.

True such caps are more rare, because as stated by Rose, sex sells (something which Playboy is happy about!). Yet they can be done, and with the right picture (which is the real challenge) can work well.

I've done one or two clean captions, but overall, when I do a Caption it is pretty steamy, and usually X-rated.  For me, that's because I'm generally making them to get Rhianna all hot and bothered.  We love on each other in a variety of ways, and sexuality is one of those varieties- it's just part of a healthy relationship. :)

I think it might be fun to have clean captions as a theme, though, and see what others can do with them.  I know the rare times I make caps for others, they are clean, so I might partcipate in that one :)
I am my Rhianna's and my Rhianna is mine.

I am also in agreemeent that there is no such thing as an unclean cap.  The female body clothed or otherwise is beautiful.
That is all I have to say

I tend to agree, I'm usually more interested in sex, if it happens in a story/cap, as part of the discovery of the girl's new identity/emotions. That being said, I've made a couple of more explicit ones in response to requests in the past.

Just an idea, I wonder if this could be wrapped into the monthly caption contest one month.  It would give lots of members a chance to test their abilities with these sorts of caps.

One reason I started capping was because of the lack of clean caps I LOVE them

hmmmm I found myself as many people doing that sort of thing from the G to the XXX rated stuff, it's all about to who will receive the content and what are her/his interest, we know we cannot please everyone but we have to deal it with and try to launch ourselves onto this, so if this end up as a contest I may try one myself or two or three ^-^

Yeah what it comes down to is each individual preferences and ratings if they like clean captions.  Personally I like all types of caption rankings, although I can see how some members prefer clean captions only.  Gwendolyn made a great point about making the monthly caption contest into a clean only caption theme.

Greetings, friends!

I'm currently working on a "Joss Whedon" submission.
If I manage to finish it before the deadline (I'm having some technical difficulties), it will be relatively "clean".
Meaning: either no nudity at all or one panel will feature what I consider to be tasteful artistic nudity.

If I don't manage to make it in time, I'll still post the results.  No sense of letting all that work go to waste...

Peace,
Lurker.

All right...let me bust this bubble.

First off, this doesnt seem to be a contest idea. I could be wrong, but it seems more like a general question than a suggestion. There for, I will asked that it be taken else where. But, I will gladly put it on the list to be considered also.

Secondly, as  a person who loves the deviant side of captions, I feel there is nothing wrong with objectification of the female form. But, I understand what you mean by clean captions. Those are the ones that got me into capping in the first place. To add to the list Jennifer, Lyndee, Dee, Courtney, Petra, and Steffie are all wonderful artist that can and do, create captions that are clean. I've even been known to do some myself.

Finally, I think that a lot of cappers choose nudity and sex because it's easier to write than to try and tell a story with out it. Its real easy to write a sex scene than one that focuses on development of the story. With that being said though, do not underestimate a good story with sex and nudity in it. They can be just as rewarding to read as a clean one.

This is just my opinion, I'm sure someone will come along and disagree with me real soon.

The entry has been submitted.
Last panel has upper body nudity, which I consider "clean", and the text of captions is pretty sanitary.  Please let me know if you disagree.
The attached clip has no nudity whatsoever.

All right...let me bust this bubble.

No need to be harsh.  I myself have experienced a certain amount of frustration feeling that certain themes in a submission (e.g., fellatio) will automatically gather more votes and, since I find such themes problematic, this put me at a disadvantage.  Kaitlyn must be even more frustrated as G-rated captions are that much more out of favour.
Therefore, while I personally prefer to celebrate the female body in all of its nude glory, I will definitely vote "aye" if this idea is put to a vote.

Peace,
Lurker.

I didnt mean to come across as harsh. I only meant that her post seemed to be more of a general statement than a request for a caption theme. But, I did add it to the list of ideas for caption themes.
