What if a month was dedicated to the Great Shift, but set at a certain time and date that it occurred. All captions would be related to each other in a sense and explain how different people throughout the world are dealing with the same great shift incident.
Say it is a time like 12:00 Noon EDT on a particular Saturday, that time is different all over the world. Some areas of the world would shift in their sleep and wake up to find the change. Some people would be at work, but as it is a weekend, maybe some are in areas like sporting events, areas they would not normally be. Maybe some people somewhere are at a wedding.
Another side on this, it has always been talked about as a one time incident, what if after the first one occurred, it happened again 10 years latter. You would have people that may have finally accepted their new lives get thrown into total chaos all over again.
