Drum roll please…..The third edition of the Haven Quarterly is here!!! Be the first on your block with the next blockbuster publication that the will be streaking up the bestseller list!

The Haven Quarterly costs $10, all proceeds are used to keep the site online. This eZine is loaded with EXCLUSIVE captions and stories from some of your favorite Haven artists and writers and is only available here, nowhere else. We’re the only people cool enough to offer this. This eZine is 92 pages of pure goodness.

To order your copy, simply follow the PayPal link on the left under the menu to send $10 US and send Rachel a message, or you can send cash or money order to the Haven PO Box. This makes a great gift too! Surprise someone and donate in their name!

Are you aware that legislation is being worked on now to screw us out of rights and freedoms? It’s happening and it’s going on now. Most have heard that Wikipedia and other sites shut themselves down today in order to protest the corporate-backed legislation that is designed to censor the internet. That is what the SOPA & PIPA bills are all about. The following is from Wikipedia’s plea for help…

“Call your elected officials.

Tell them you are their constituent, and you oppose SOPA and PIPA.

SOPA and PIPA would put the burden on website owners to police user-contributed material and call for the unnecessary blocking of entire sites. Small sites won't have sufficient resources to defend themselves. Big media companies may seek to cut off funding sources for their foreign competitors, even if copyright isn't being infringed. Foreign sites will be blacklisted, which means they won't show up in major search engines. SOPA and PIPA would build a framework for future restrictions and suppression.

In a world in which politicians regulate the Internet based on the influence of big money, Wikipedia — and sites like it — cannot survive.

Congress says it's trying to protect the rights of copyright owners, but the "cure" that SOPA and PIPA represent is worse than the disease. SOPA and PIPA are not the answer: they would fatally damage the free and open Internet.”

Contacting your representatives in Congress only takes a few minutes of your time, but will have lasting effects you’ll see for the ret of your life. DO NOT let corporations steal our freedom. IT IS NOT FOR SALE!

Click here for the details about the 2 pieces of bad legislation. You can also check out Americancensorship.org to help join the protest. Artists want to post. Lurkers want to lurk. Together was can keep it that way, otherwise, all we enjoy might disappear so get involved!
