1. If you want to be captioned by someone, you need to start by captioning someone else. Simply put, this Forum is about trading caps. You won't receive a Subforum in the 'Trading Gallery' section until you have posted a cap for someone else. Show that your willing to return the favor, and you'll start being on the receiving end!
2. Once you have your own folder, your name will be listed in the Trading Preferences Database. You may change them as often as you like, because this file is not treated as a one time request. Any issues found while entering your preferences should be sent to Bren
3. All captions should be posted in the recipient's folder. Each artist will receive their folder after posting their first caption for another, already trading user.
4. It is recommended any requests/preferences you make be placed in your folder in the 'You Cap me, I Cap You' section. Please either copy your preferences from the Trading Preference Database or place them in the following format:
Original First Name?
New First Name?
Starting age?
Change age? To?
Starting race?
Change race? To?
Change sex? (Default answer is yes)
Any preference to method?
Any preference to situation?
Any preference to rating? (Default tends to fall in the PG-13 to R realm)
Anything you don't particularly care for? (Things that may offend you if used)
You don't have to enter something for every field, but if you want to leave it to the artist, please indicate that by typing "Any" or "Up to You" in the field. Remember, the idea is to make YOUR fantasy come true, so the more information you provide, the happier you may be with the result!
If you have a caption that pertains to a group, rather then placing it into each user's folder individually, please create a new topic in the general section of 'You Cap Me' forum, and post it there. If this is your first caption, it will count for a folder request.
5. If you are found to be inactive on the site (example: not making any posts site wide) for a period of three months or more, your folder will be moved into the 'inactive' category. To be removed, simply prove you are again active and ask an admin to move it back to the active list. Any folders moved back to the active list will be added to the bottom of the list, NOT the location it was originally placed.
Note: Please do not post any caption requests until after you have been given your own folder/sub forum as it will be considered a violation of these terms. If a request is posted in the general forum, it will be deleted.
