Counting the Stars

OneRepublic had another great song, which led me to this one. I like the unique lyric in the chorus "Dreaming about the things that we could be" and it got me thinking from a nostalgic perspective. The narrative might hit a bit close to reality for some, but nonetheless, here's an entry from me

A different life with different options and choices doesn't mean that you will be happier with your life. It will be all up to yourself to make the best out of it.

Agreed. I think that was the point; that instead of measuring this new life by how much she has, she'll put more value on the relationships and opportunities (Kinda going off the lyric "Instead of counting dollars, we'll be counting stars").

I guess that most of us would try to put more value in a new life if getting a new start.
