Age Regression Month - Used November 2011
« on: July 15, 2011, 07:41:46 AM »
I mean cmon. We have only had one age regression(fathers day) out of the many contests.  Lets add one more to that to make two.

I am wary of any age regression that goes below the age of 18. Those caps always worry me.

Greetings, friend Jillisa!

I am wary of any age regression that goes below the age of 18. Those caps always worry me.

Not to worry, 89 to 88 is still considered age regression.

Peace,
Lurker.

So, I think this is a great idea, but I say we skip at least one month before using this theme. While Lurker is right, and age regression has a wide range of possibilities, I have a feeling a lot of the entries would end up being very similar to the clean caps we've had this month. Not that that is a bad thing, just maybe we should space it out a bit. Like maybe for September or October. Those are my thoughts anyway.

I like the idea. It can make some cute caps. Also caps can be clean and work very well. Like bad boy getting a second chance by getting turned into a good little girl.

We just had a "clean" theme for this month.  Don't be greedy.

Love age regression, but I agree this has many similarities to this month's "Clean Caption" contest.  I think it could be done well, and does not necessarily mean capping girls under 18 (though I am sure that is what Selena wants).  Agreed, good contest idea, but let's hold off a month or two.

I know and clean captions was not my idea, I just brought that up for the people that think AR means going under 18, then can do it clean and still have an entry :)

I like this idea and although generally I like ditzy teenage girl caps I don't like going under 16 but I understand how some find it distasteful. As Kaitlyn say, age reduction doesn't have to mean being turned into a young girl. You could just as easily have a pensioner getting a new lease of life as a twentysomething.

I can agree with many that I can understand how people find age regression unsettling.  It's kind of the way I find a lot of ganging/bukkake caps.  To be quite candid, fictionalized clear age regression ones aren't illegal, the use of pornography in caps still is.  Nobody enforces it, but still.

What about a cheerleader one?  That includes all ages and types of (un)dress.  Or something more esoteric -- animal print, water park, getting a piercing, handstand, etc.

Greetings, friend Ashlee!

The fact that fiction can be illegal demonstrates how Orwelian society has become.

Nobody enforces it, but still.

Selective enforcement is a tool of oppression.

Dude. Child pornography is not Orwelian. It's fucking disgusting. Clear difference. Obviously.

Dude. Transgender is not Orwellian. It's fucking disgusting. Clear difference. Obviously.

Come to think of it, there are people that will happily incarcerate you (or worse) without a second thought, solely because of your taste in fiction.
In fact, there are whole societies -- countries even -- that will declare you an abomination and treat you accordingly.

Are you OK with that?  Because, you know, to them, "it's fucking disgusting".

Child abuse is one of the worst crimes I can think of.
Outlawing fiction is thoughtcrime.

Peace,
Lurker.

Lurker while I agree with free expression the rules of this site are clear on underage material.

All it takes is one risque photo or caption and we wind up on some FBI watchlist

I am aware of the Haven's rules and respect them.  I have never advocated breaking those rules.

And if you read my comments on the subject, you'll realize that this is exactly what I ranted against.

In terms of under 18 stuff...I've certainly done plenty of caps featuring characters that are under that age most recently my entry in the current "Clean caption" contest http://www.rachelshaven.com/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=41&topic=44862.0 and best I can tell the girls in the original photos are of that age group as well. Bottom line as long as the image is PG, game on best I can tell!

Hey, just a suggestion- maybe instead of just age regression, it could be age change. That way, as well as regression there's also the option to get older.
