Greetings, friends!
I understand that the contents are predominately for new captions, and for a good reason, but I would like to make a case for a contest featuring existing works, something like the Academy award (Oscar) nominations.
The process will involve three simple steps:
1) The submitters will "nominate" one or more captions from their trading folder and/or from the showcase folder(a).
2) The voters will vote for one or more of these captions, except for the ones they nominated or the ones they authored(b).
3) Votes will be tallied and winners announced.

(a) Possibly in separate categories.
(b) Cheaters will be transformed into tarantulas.
